County adopts cash purchase model for county buys
A national company uses Maricopa County as a model for cash purchases, said Joe Warnas county purchasing director. Santa Fe International Corp of Orange California is the seller. The county has used the cash purchase order for a year reducing admin work and eliminating claim forms and invoices. The seller fills in the amount up to 100 dollars with a blank check accompanying the order. Abuses have been virtually none.
