Coronado High School murals bloom across walls
Coronado High School students under Joe Gatti have created eight major murals and many paintings since 1962, starting with a community mosaic in the auditorium. The ongoing program features a Phoenix wall piece in the library and varied allegorical murals in the typing room faculty lounge choral room and cafeteria, each evolving over years.
