A San Francisco couple offers a 10000 dollar reward for their four year old mixed breed dog Killer missing since June. The wife, seeking anonymity, says Killer helped her cope after her child's death and she ran a rescue group before quitting to search for him.
City Prosecutor Lance Jacobs has resigned his 21000 annual post effective January 3. Jacobs, 35, took the job last February and would not comment on the resignation. City officials cited personal reasons and said the decision was his.
Phoenix couple Euel and Cinderella Ballentine reached a 27500 settlement in a federal case accusing Glad Tidings Church of America Inc. of defrauding them of 25000 via three year 8 percent time savings certificates. The suit alleged securities fraud from a February 1975 TV ad and the church's failure to disclose lack of real business operations.
