Phoenix minister's daughter found strangled in parked car
Lillian Maud Reagan 19, daughter of Rev and Mrs Paul Reagan, was found dead in her car behind Doctors Hospital after disappearing Saturday night. She was strangled with clothesline and gagged with a handkerchief. her mother and brother located the vehicle at 8:15 a.m. Reagan worked at Skaggs Drug Store and was active in church life.

Survivors Found From Douala Freighter Sinking
Eighteen seamen rescued from two lifeboats after 30 hours adrift in the icy Atlantic. Eleven sailors died when the freighter Douala flooded and sank on Saturday as winds and 75 foot waves battered the vessel. Survivors were hospitalized in Port Aud Basques and St Pierre with frostbite and exposure.
