Final Webb fee approved for Maricopa County Hospital
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors authorized payment of the final 1.1 million contractor’s fee to Del E. Webb Corp for the county hospital project. Ten percent had been withheld to ensure completion and payment of subcontractors. County Manager Charles Miller said Webb completed all work and subcontractors and suppliers were paid, with about 160,000 still withheld due to a subcontractor’s suit.
