Viet Nam Vets To Arrive At Sky Harbor For Week At Camelback Inn
Sixty veterans from the Viet Nam war will arrive at Sky Harbor Airport Saturday. They will be hosted by Jack Stewart of the Camelback Inn for a weeklong vacation at the resort. A public banquet is set for Dec. 15 at Camelback Inn with tickets at 10 dollars, seven of which support the servicemen’s Christmas shopping. Citizens are urged to welcome the group at 5 p.m. The Arizona State University band, Scottsdale Dudettes, area Boy Scouts, and state and city officials including Gov. Sam Goddard will attend.
