Mexican Held for Patrol After Stop in Scottsdale
Scottsdale police detained Lucas Robledo a 28 year old Mexican national from Durango after a suspicious persons report near 82nd Street and Whitten around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Three men were stopped in a yellow pickup. Robledo spoke no English and had no ID. The other two were released.

Fire damages pickup truck in Scottsdale blaze
A pickup truck owned by Bill Watkins Ford sustained 250 dollars in damage after a Tuesday morning fire at 7100 East McDowell. Scottsdale Rural Fire Department reports the fire was out on arrival and the cause is unknown. Earlier scrap lumber on a lot at Granite Reef and McDonald also caught fire at 2 15 pm with investigators unsure of the cause.

U S Army Crewmen Freed After North Korea Incident
Three U S Army helicopter crewmen shot down near Seoul in August were released at Panmunjom after a U S apology.
