Field Day At U of A Citrus Farm In Tempe
The University of Arizona Citrus Farm on Highline Drive south of Tempe will host an annual field day on Thursday at 2 p m. Farm superintendent Robert Hilgeman and county agricultural agent J H O'Dell will welcome AG farmers and citrus growers. Speakers include Dr L M Pultz and Dr Leland Burkhardt on frost protection and cultural practices, with Neil Cook and Glen Stannard discussing frost mitigation via wind machines and heaters respectively.
