Annexation Adds Area to Paradise Valley Town
Paradise Valley annexed about 2.5 square miles west of Tatum Boulevard near Desert Jewel Road at a special Aug. 8 meeting. The move, disclosed by a weekly paper, follows a June 25 annexation. total town area now about 12.12 square miles with 54 percent assessed value of property annexed. Town Clerk Helen Marston cited mayor Jack Hurress as calling the meeting and noted meetings can be called without public notice.
