New York Hospital Strike Ends After Four Days

A settlement ends a four day illegal strike by 18 000 nonprofessional workers against 16 municipal hospitals. Burglaries rise in Scottsdale after summer dip

Scottsdale police statistics show a 32 percent jump in burglaries in July after a steady decline through the first half of 1976. Last month recorded 111 burglaries versus 8 in July 1975. For the first seven months of 1976, burglaries were down 6.8 percent from 1975, with 653 break-ins year to date. Team II logged 45 cases, Team I 40, Team III 26, and unlocked doors were a major entry method, with 25 home entries via unlocked doors and 21 by prying. Residential cases far outnumbered commercial ones, 93 to 18.
