Man takes lashes instead of jail in child abuse case

Car sought in fatal hit and run in Scottsdale
Police search for an off-white 1953 to 1955 Dodge or Plymouth linked to a fatal hit and run on East McDowell Road in Scottsdale. A blue car may have been involved. 19 year old James Emery Sakara died after four hours at Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Witnesses saw front end damage and a broken headlight on the initial vehicle.
