Suggs Homes sales reps led a $7.5 million year with Tom Lawson Sam Fierro and Jim Shea each surpassing 2.5 million in new home sales. Promotions and appointments followed at Scottsdale Shadows Con dominium USLife Title Arizona and other firms across Phoenix and Mesa.
Phoenix issued 1,800 building permits in March with a total valuation of 28.98 million. The City Building and Safety Department notes activity remains strong at about one million dollars daily, despite a drop from 2,364 permits and 32.21 million the previous year. First quarter 1974 valuations total 91.2 million versus 99.5 million a year earlier.
The city council approved final plats for Casabella a 21 unit patio home project by Haan Construction and Cuernavaca a 41 unit townhouse project by Murphree Edmunds Inc both near Lincoln Drive and Scottsdale Road. A 6 1 vote approved all plats including Paradise Memorial Gardens at 92nd Street and Shea Boulevard.
Scottsdale Development Review Board approved a small air quality monitoring building at Scottsdale Rural Fire Department HQ near Miller and Thomas Roads. They also OK'd a two story office at 7126 E Shea Blvd with 5355 square feet, while defering Shop-n-Go at 7938 E McDowell Rd and a basement shooting range retail store at 4160 Craftsman Court. Additional approvals included additions to Scottsdale Floor Covering at 4433 Buckboard Trail All Seasons Child Care Center at 2928 N 67th Pl and a restaurant at 7255 McCormick Parkway.
