Man charged in auto theft linked to Madison's Chevrolet
Donald Sappington 34 of 3226 North List Place was arrested after midnight by Scottsdale police on charges of grand theft auto and receiving stolen property in connection with the theft of a new car from Madison's Chevrolet. Police say he had prior November charges for receiving stolen boats that were later dismissed. The 1987 Chevrolet station wagon was taken March 24 and found the next day stripped of engine and transmission.
