Supreme Court To Rule On Theresa Robichaud Case
A hearing to decide if Theresa Robichaud, 17, Fresno, should be tried as an adult in a double slaying was moved to April 14 by Maricopa County Juvenile Court. The Arizona Supreme Court will hear a petition for a writ of prohibition on that date and a habeas corpus petition the day before. Robichaud and Herbert Shockey, 30, are charged with first degree murder in the February deaths near Apache Junction. Shockey has admitted guilt but Robichaud’s involvement remains unproven. The defendant invoked the Fifth Amendment during questioning.
