Scottsdale businessman named to SBA Phoenix council
A. Phil Stone of Scottsdale has been named to the Phoenix district advisory council of the Small Business Administration. The two year appointment was disclosed by Rep. John B. Conlan. Stone, owner and president of Phil Stone Building Products, Inc. in Phoenix, will help advise Arizona director Stan Goldberg on SBA programming.
Prudential Expands Property and Casualty in Arizona
Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance begins selling automobile, homeowners, renters and personal catastrophe coverage in Arizona from the Scottsdale Western Regional Service Office. A fuel conservation premium discount is offered for car pooling or public transit use. Governor Williams and Insurance Director Humphrey attended the Scottsdale announcement as the program rolls out nationally with full implementation by 1975.
