Mr S F Johnson died February 18 1912 after about two months illness. He joined Hickory Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at a young age and remained a loyal member, later moving to Temple Methodist Protestant then Entel Methodist Protestant with his wife. He married Rowan Cutchin October 14 1872 and was devoted to his church, generous in gospel support, and a good neighbor. He leaves a devoted wife and many friends. His ashes were laid to rest February 20 near his home with service by Rev C L Whitaker.
