Lieutenant Mills Kitchin son of Congressman Llande Kitchin was notified of his promotion to Captain. He earned praise for bayonet drill, physical training, and leadership at Camp Lee where he has directed training and exhibitions. Mrs Claude Kitchin learned of the news by phone from a friend, as Captain Kitchin visited with relatives earlier this week.
