Louis Brill an elevator operator at 131 East Twelfth Street pleaded guilty after arraignment in special sessions to stealing a bundle of dry goods worth 16.17 from a Hudson County express truck driven by Samuel Levine. He claimed a stranger paid him to hold the bundle. The court remanded him for another week for investigation.
