Court of Inquiry Condemns Irreverent Questions at Schley Case
The Schley court of inquiry reconvened on the 20th with four witnesses and a notable ruling when a question was drawn to gauge an officer’s opinion on a contested point. Rear Admiral Higginson faced the request regarding measures to capture the Christobal Colon, but the court withdrew the interrogatory after objections. The session featured Dewey’s orderly leadership and a small public attendance. The piece then shifts to a general reflection on happiness and pain, concluding with an advertisement for St. Jacobs Oil as a remedy for bodily aches and pains.
