Kansas Bill Proposes $1 Per Day Veteran Compensation

Reverend Hugo Alm Found Dead in Gully Near Manhattan
The body found in a deep gully near Manhattan is Rev. Hugo Alm a retired Methodist minister. He disappeared after leaving Boxholm Iowa for the Swedish Methodist conference and was last seen in Manhattan after misplacing a train. No foul play is suspected and his widow and son in Chicago are informed. A second item lists a Standard Atlas of Republic County offered for sale.
