Karen Sweat of Norway, Scandia, finished as second runner up in the Junior Miss Pageant held in Belleville last weekend. She earned a $25 prize from E A Pedersen Co and a camera for best instrumentalist, with all contestants receiving a $25 savings bond and charm bracelet. Rhonda Jo Rice was crowned 1972 Kansas Junior Miss with Janet Hecht as runner up.
