Belleville District to Vote on $15,000 High School Bond

Fire wipes out pavilion at Gather Ink Park near Concordia

The Gather Ink Park pavilion north of Concordia was destroyed by fire last Saturday evening. A passerby spotted the blaze and raised the alarm. chemicals could not stop the flames. Owner Pete Brosseau of Salina valued the pavilion at 4000 dollars with 2000 dollars insurance. manager Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bethel Jr. oversaw operations. The structure will likely be rebuilt as plans unfold.
