Notice proclaims a special city election in Scandia to fill unexpired terms for two council seats. The hour window is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Ind City voting place with the usual location and officials attested by City Clerk Benndia Kanne and Mayor O. O. Winson dated May 15 1902.
Fully five hundred people attended the closing exercises at the city hall Friday evening as high school graduates launched their lives. Governor W. Stanley delivered the principal address on The Genius of Modern Education, with Elenetta Gile and others performing in a program of songs and orations. The benediction closed a ceremony urging youth to build character, courage, and purpose, above fame.
