Notice to the public that I I W EF Alen sold and transferred all my interest in the A P Happer drug store in Scandia Kansas to A P Happer. Transfer includes all personal property stock furniture furnishings and all ownership in the block account.
Notice declares that A J White filed March 11 1908 for a Druggist permit under Kansas laws. Hearing set for April 13 at 10 00 AM in the Probate Judge's office Belleville Kansas.
Notice to electors of Scandia Kansas for the annual city election to be held April 7 1902 at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Officers to be elected include Mayor 56 Councilmen Police Judge. Attested by Mayor G L Whits and City Clerk J H Sandell.
An announcement lists a Blind Boone concert at the opera house on April 5. It notes printing services at the JOURNAL office and advertising rates with subscription offers through January 1, 1903. A shawl and veil are found on the streets, owner to claim after proof of ownership and payment. The Norway spelling geography and declamation contest scheduled for March 22 is postponed with a later date to be announced.
