A lively foot race between Pederson and King drew five men two women and many children to a river bridge. Pederson won after judges' debate with 3 to 2 votes though four judges were absent. Spectators agreed King would have prevailed with a faster run. The Princess Theatre announces March line up led by The Miracle Man and Maeterling’s The Blue Bird with heavy community interest.
The Swedish Methodist Church lists Sunday events on March 7 with Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. Morning Worship at 11:00 a.m. Epworth League Devotional at 7:00 p.m. Evening Service at 7:30 p.m. The Wednesday March 10 meeting notes 2700 p.m. The Ladies Aid meets at church parlors with Mrs Rev O J Swan entertaining. A vintage advertisement touts Hall's Catarrh Medicine as a thirty five year trusted remedy. It offers a one hundred dollar reward for incurable cases and claims the medicine cleanses the blood to heal mucous surfaces. Testimonials are promised on request.
Letters Testamentary have been granted to Ulysses Grant Fulcomer as executor of Henry Fulcomer's estate in Republic County Kansas. Creditors must present claims within one year for allowance or risk loss of benefi t. two years after the letters to be barred. Henry H. Van Natta probate judge dated February 19 1920.
In Kansas Repub lic County probate court the estate of Michael Curren deceased is handled. Testamentary granted to T. J. West as executor under the November 15 1919 will. All claims must be presented within two years after letters, or be barred. Subscription reminder included.
