In 1892 he married Millie Louise Othberg. They had 11 children including Lawrence who preceded him in death. Survived by wife five daughters Darrel Standley Courtland Pete Rasmussen Concordia Seth Tibbets Orange Calif Orville Buhr San Acacia Ruth Sallman Concordia five sons Louis Walter Elden Clifford Concordia Edwin Damascus Ark four sons and daughters in law 27 grandchildren one great grandson a Sweden half brother and half sister and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Hampton Funeral Home and the Amana Lutheran church. Interment was in the Amana Lutheran cemetery. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Carlson Friday were Mr. and Mrs. C O Johnson and Jarl and Miss Jerry Anne Johnson of Kansas City.
Sunday Mr and Mrs John Carlson were guests of Mr and Mrs Axel Lundberg and family of Courtland.
