Scandia Fourth Celebration Recalled Across Local Press
Scandia marked one of its largest Fourth of July crowds with a well run program. A basketball girls’ game on South Cloud Street followed by a band concert and fireworks from Wilson’s hill drew four to five thousand visitors. Reports praise the orderly crowd and entertainment, though some critics say the event failed to meet all expectations with disputed attendance and funding.
