Pancake Feed Planned by Volunteer Firemen at Legion Hall
The Volunteer Firemen host a free pancake feed Saturday night from 5 to 7 at the American Legion Hall. An added attraction is a concert by the Great Society Singers of Concordia. No charge for food or entertainment, donations welcomed to fund fire equipment updates.

Robert L. Mier, a Kansas State University graduate student, is named to the Scandia NCRPC staff as Student Intern effective January 13. He will develop a comprehensive Development Plan for the city. His internship lasts about eight months and is partially funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
