One hundred twenty six delegates from across Kansas attended the eighth annual Kansas District YWCA meeting and state convention in Minneapolis February 22 23. Scandia sent Miss Opal Currie as special voting delegate and Mrs Amanda Brandstrom Mrs Lewis Wallin Miss Jessie Nichol and Miss Edna Neher as visiting delegates. National officer Miss Elizabeth Herring and several state officers were present. Speakers included Miss Herring Mrs J E Stephens Miss Florence Stone and Dr W Ernest Collins. Mrs C G Durkee presided. Scandia group traveled Friday to Monday with Mrs Carl Bothwell accompanying.
