Graveling of 36 to Start Soon
San-Ore Construction Company received the contract to gravel highway No. 36 from the Jewell county line to east of Scandia. Work began Monday with pumping gravel from the Mrs Edlund place, using a 100 horsepower engine and six inch pipe. The project aims to finish in about three to four weeks with local labor as much as possible and around-the-clock operation once underway.
