Mrs D Weyand wife of Boston Department store proprietor D Weyand died Monday night at 9 30 in their Boston block apartments. The remains were sent to Colorado Springs for burial Tuesday night. She had lived at 1 City briefly and left a grieving husband two sons and a married daughter in Colorado Springs along with many relatives and friends.
School report lists 22 pupils enrolled with 18 average attendance and 17 tardies. Names Mildred and Atha Annand Mamie McGnnuas Han noted as neither tardy nor absent. Teacher signs as part of district update.

Viewers J C Price 1 4 Kelley and A B Ogle will meet January 28 1905 at the beginning point for inspection and a hearing. If the day fails they may reconvene the next day as law allows. County Clerk W K Walters records the notice dated January 18 1905.

Mr and Mrs Loyd Davis spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs Ed Anderson. Mrs D N Woods spent Friday afternoon at S C Haumphrey’s.

Senior class visited the Mo Pac depot where Mr Ackley spoke on telegraph. Prof Thorpe graded over 325 teacher examination papers in Belleville Saturday. An 8th grade boy saw two rabbits on the way to school Monday. rabbits show interest in school work.

Convent meeting held at the new church Saturday afternoon. A new born daughter to Mr and Mrs Chester Loofbourr on January 28. Sunday school and Young Peoples meeting likely for the last time in the 48 schoolhouse. Mr Murphy visits his ill mother in Oklahoma. Lloyd and Bert Kelly home from Concordia for part of last week with the grip. Dedication services after Sunday school at 10 o'clock then evening sermon at 7:30. Gulick’s ad promises bargains.
