The Scandia student body under Dennis Hutchinson performed a large, grade-spanning Christmas program in the grade auditorium. About 60 singers from grades 3 to 6 and junior high offered varied pieces, including Jingle Bells, Deck the Halls, and He Shall Feed His Flock, with multiple soloists and accompaniment by Mrs Loring, Marcy Isaacson, Karla Morgan, and others.
Emma Marie Larson aged 88 died in Belle View Manor Belleville. Funeral services were held Sunday December 24 1972 at Ada Lutheran Church at 2 00 PM with Arnold Wuertz officiating. Memorials may be directed to the church.
