In Republic County Kansas Probate Court Belleville the estate of Samuel Sanderson deceased. Myrtle Sanderson administrator will apply at the next term on January 5 1914 at 10 AM for final settlement allowance of fees discharge of duties release of sureties and to judicially determine heirs. The Republic County Kansas Board of Commissioners met December 1st in regular session. They rejected the petition to open a Norway road after reviewing the viewers report and ordered costs assessed to petition signers. They then considered closing a Norway road with the viewers report favorable to closure.
The county board rejects a remonstrance by a large majority of signers against closing a road, ordering the road not closed. Journal entries list numerous county expenses and audits including jail supplies, visiting schools, juror costs, clothing, and various merchant and contractor charges with dates and amounts.
