Mrs Maurine Larson and Mrs Leverett Hobson thank relatives neighbors and friends for cards flowers and letters received at Concordia Hospital and since returning home.

Elvera Victoria Erickson Frazier died December 2 1968 at St Joseph Hospital Concordia Kansas aged 64. She married Guy C Frazier in 1931 and spent most of her life in Scandia active in church and community. Funeral December 5 at Bachelor Faulkner Dart Funeral Home Scandia with interment in Riverside Cemetery.
Scandia Chapter 481 Eastern Star elected officers for the coming year at its December meeting led by Worthy Matron Mrs. Charles Klima and Worthy Patron Carl Peters. The next meeting is December 17 at 7 30 p m with installation planned and open to the public. Refreshments were served by members including Mr. and Mrs. J W Smith and others. Local residents attended as dinner guests.
Mrs. Alva Thompson hosted a Baby Shower Saturday evening at her home honoring Mrs. Dale Davis Assisted by Mrs. Robert Serra and Mrs. Melvin Cailteux Many guests attended including Mrs. James Davis Mrs. George Freed and several others with multiple family members listed.
