The Kansas Legislature proposes to amend Article 2 Section 3 to set compensation at 500 dollars per regular session 100 dollars per special session and three cents per mile traveled. The measure, designated as Amendment to the constitution relating to the compensation of members of the legislature, would take effect after publication and be submitted to voters at the 1908 general election.
