Dr Luther R White of Edmund Kansas an early Republic County physician died suddenly of apoplexy at the Brunswick Hotel Saturday around 8 am He had survived two prior strokes and had been in frail health He was a member of multiple fraternal orders and was buried in Scandia cemetery Funeral services were at City Hall conducted by Rev H A Zimmerman Two brothers and a sister survived him Adolph Nelson injured his left hand severely from a jar incident the day before with stitches required but no major injury expected
