District 95 undertakes a new well project at the Norway school house. Residents share updates on local teaching assignments with several teachers set for winter posts in districts 93 and near Norway. Republic County Kansas treasurer I H B Swanson announces the sale of delinquent 1901 taxes on September 2, 1902 at 10 a.m. in Belleville. Lands and town lots described will be sold to cover taxes penalties and charges unless paid beforehand. Bid by the county and no other bidders accepted.
The measure submits a proposition to amend section 3 of article 2 to set legislator pay at 500 dollars for a regular session, five dollars daily for special sessions, and three cents per mile, with a 150 dollar cap per special session, to Kansas voters in 1902.
