Community Achievement Council Plans Landscaping Scandia Rural High
The Community Achievement Council votes to use a $100 prize from 1960 to landscape the grounds of the new Scandia Rural high school. A committee led by Glenn Larson and including Mrs. George Cardwell Larry Hobson and Mrs. Charley Cardwell will coordinate plans and solicit tree shrub and cash donations while following the landscape plan.

SSA Visit Planned in Belleville for Social Security Aid
A Social Security Administration representative will visit Belleville on Tuesday April 14 1964. Citizens may call at the Courthouse Welfare Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for information and to complete proofs of identity age and employment, including birth or baptismal certificates Form W-2 for employed workers or self employment tax return and related documents. Death notice for Mrs Amelia Moller of McPherson aged 90 after a long illness. She had left Scandia in 1825 and was mother to several relatives.
