Finishing Touches On Scandia Auditorium Gymnasium
Work is progressing on the Scandia auditorium gymnasium with finishing touches near completion. Plans call for the senior play in the new structure on May 21 as floor work and bleachers near final setup.

Norbert Helvey Honored By Belleville Legion
Norbert Helvey was chosen as a delegate to the Boys Conference at Wichita from June 13. Eligibility requires being a junior with solid scholastic record. The Belleville American Legion sponsors his trip and covers all expenses. The conference educates on government fundamentals and elects officers. It is a yearly honor for S. H. S. to have a student participate in Wichita. Also, the senior play Eyes of Love seats May 21 Tuesday evening.

Scandia students and families will attend a city hall dinner on Friday May 24 to celebrate the final school day.
