Editorial Notes on Wisconsin Senate Terms and Briggs Seat
Editorial correspondence from Madison discusses two years terms for senators, a constitutional provision on Senate districts, and a critique of J. R. Briggs’s seat under a new district. The writer argues a law to the contrary should not override the Constitution and notes a short session with few local bills.
