Monday morning Captain W. O. Harrison of Bayonne was injured when his car, started in low gear, rolled forward onto him near Mr Turner's garage on Main Street. A crowd lifted the auto. he suffered bruises and scalp lacerations but is recovering slowly and hopes to resume duties soon.
Mr. W. F. Knight accompanied Mr. Rob't. McDougald to Miak ka Saturday, going by auto and returning next day.
Regular meeting discusses approvals of May minutes, audit report by Guenther, warrant rectification per recommendation, street grading on 6th street, contract to W B Williams for 12 inch drain pipe through Chapline street, fencing cemetery by H H Rawls, quit claim of alley land by Burns, street clearings including 10th 11th 12th streets and Banana avenue with costs, Hudson avenue clearing charges, and ledger bills including Sarasota Livery Company and Standard Oil. Finance committee referrals noted.
