Brick School Building to Replace Old Structure

Enrollment has risen 25 percent for 1911 12 and trustees approve a new brick school building costing ten to twelve thousand dollars to be placed on the existing site. The old building will be sold and moved to serve until the new facilities are ready, including eight recitation rooms a library a principal’s office and space for manual training domestic science gymnasium and heating.

Florida Citrus Exchange Urges Universal Pooling Across Associations

Manatee County to Spend Half Million on New Public Buildings

In coming months Manatee County plans about a half million dollars for public and commercial construction excluding private homes. Plans include a $100,000 Bradenton courthouse, six county school structures, and four brick high school buildings. Also listed is a Citrus packing house for the Sub-Exchange at Sarasota near 19th Street and Lemon Avenue, costing several thousand dollars beyond equipment. Mr. Taylor, the Music Man of Palmetto, visited town.

Sarasota Plays Braden Town Today In Rain Delay

Weather forces Sarasota to move the baseball game to Braden Town while a band concert and prior last Thursday game were postponed due to rain. Players and fans urged to attend and support the team. train schedules note a 1 30 departure.
