County approves Bee Ridge Road 24 foot cross section plan
The Board of County Commissioners approved 24 foot pavement plans for a 2.6 mile Bee Ridge Road segment at an estimated $130000, subject to Road and Bridge Supervisor approval. Mosby Engineering said an urban two lane with parking was too costly and that work awaits State Road Department sign off. The plan includes six foot shoulders and five foot south side sidewalks from South Trail to Phillippi Creek with widening elsewhere, plus two plats approved for Spring Lakes Addition and Euclid Subdivision.
