Truck Wreck Kills 12 Near Rocky Ford Colorado

A train struck a truck carrying 18 Mexican field workers west of Vroman Colorado killing 12 people including the driver Sylvester Licano of Rocky Ford. The bodies and body parts lay along the railroad right of way for 380 feet at a farm road crossing one quarter mile west of Vroman. The eastbound Santa Fe freight caused the disaster.
