City Council considers immediate rebuild of the pier
At a regular meeting, council members heard a petition to rebuilt 100 feet of the municipal recreation pier after a storm destroyed about 200 feet. Plans and cost estimates were ordered. Mrs James McDonald Dies At Bradenton Hospital
Mrs. James McDonald died Friday morning at Larabee hospital in Bradenton and was buried Sunday at Rosemary cemetery. Services were at Rosemary cemetery at 2 p m conducted by Dr A J Beck with Rebekah Lodge ritual. She was a beloved member of the local chapter and home in Sarasota for several years.
