Lewiston electrician Cledith L. Scott, 49, died from an electrocution while working on a 12 000 volt power substation at Potlatch Forest Inc. in Lewiston He was tying into a power line in the paperboard finishing building and was pronounced dead at St Josephs Memorial Hospital.

Two Car Accident Near Hope Cited Retired Officer
A retired officer, Thomas E. Gagin, 71, was cited for failure to yield after a Saturday morning two car crash three miles east of Hope. Samuel P. Wagner, 58, of Sandpoint, skidded 76 feet to avoid the collision. Wagner injured. Gagin injured but not admitted to hospital. Damage estimated at 700 for Gagin and 250 for Wagner.

Thieves Hit Murphy's Bar in Hope Idaho
Two burglars entered Murphy's Bar in Hope Idaho through an unlocked rear door Sunday night and stole more than 250 dollars from two cash registers along with two bottles of liquor. Deputy Ernie Nagle found clear fingerprints at the scene and they are being processed for identification.
