Patricia G. Young of Moscow reported her car window smashed at the Sandpoint railroad depot around 9:30 pm. Police Officer Bob Ward arrested Floyd Hopkins 19 Terrance McCommon 18 and Leiuis Clauson 18 nearby on the Cedar Street Bridge. Bond set at 500 each.

Plane crash kills two Idaho guardsmen near Bear Valley

Sagle youth pleads to trespass in burglary case
Mike Kirkpatrick, 19, of Sagle, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and received 60 days in Bonner County Jail with 53 suspended. The July 14 incident involved Helen Misner of the Talache Road and Garfield Bay Road area, who said property was stolen. Kirkpatrick also drawn unsupervised probation for one year.
