The University of Idaho Athletic Board of Control recommended head football coach Don Robbins be given the option to resign or be fired after a four hour closed meeting. The vote stood 6-4-1 with six assistants suggested for the same options. Robbins has a 20-24 record in four years and 4-7 this season. The board’s recommendation awaits President Hartung’s review before the State Board of Regents.
