The Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission voted to urge county commissioners to issue a conditional use permit for a 24 youth rehabilitation center at the old Clark Fork Ranger Station. In Reno a group of high school students circulated the Declaration of Independence as a petition to 690 residents. Over 60 percent did not recognize it and most refused to sign. Only 259 recognized the document, with one elderly woman reciting it from start to finish.
