Two US 95 accidents near Careywood and Sandpoint tied to drivers falling asleep. A 26 year old from Coeur d Alene struck a store in Careywood with a pickup, $600 vehicle damage, cited for inattentive driving. Corps Approves Hope Bank Protection Project

Fourth arrest in Priest Lake burglary ring linked to chain saw thefts
Bonner County Sheriff Robert H. Wilcox announced the fourth suspect, Stanley Boggs of Newport, is jailed on a 5000 bond awaiting arraignment for second degree burglary. Deputy Mitchell and Deputy Nagle led the two week probe into 17 Priest Lake robberies as two earlier suspects were detained in Newport and a third surrendered there. A cache of stolen items at Coeur d Alene helped crack the case.
